Designer Spotlight: Giuseppe Papini

When Italian designer Giuseppe Papini sent me exclusive images of their 2015 Ad campaign I was thrilled. Not only were the photographs set in a stunning garden location with an old world feel, the gowns were jaw-droppingly beautiful. I knew I had to share them with my readers. Their gowns exude European elegance, cut and style. I love the mix of traditional meets modern in their wedding gowns, seen in the their almost ball-gown skirts in pleats and modern ruffles. They seem to offer just the right amount of ‘swish factor’ (as I like to call it). Not all are seemingly “Modest Bride” friendly, but a closer look at  the neckline of the strapless gowns show that they are quite high and straight, rather than sweetheart, which is difficult to work with. Get creative and put on a blazer for a modern edge, an embellished bolero or even the popular bridal cape as a chic cover-up.
