Zoe and Matt’s wedding is literally the epitome of style and elegance. Her beautiful lace gown with sweetly ruffled neckline and sleeve details, coupled with the most epic cascading, lush bouquet of green foliage with orchids and roses was pure genius… Her vision of a black tie, yet simple, classic and sophisticated wedding against a palette of green and ivory was brought to life by the most incredible vendors, such as Kate Hill flowers, THAT Valentino gown, Nectar and Stone and Bespoke Letterpress.
Campbell Point House, Leopold, was the first and only venue that they looked at. They instantly fell in love with its opulence, beauty and breathtaking views of Lake Connewarre and were drawn to the idea of having a venue that offered a unique experience for our guests. The beauty of the interiors equally matched the stunning grounds, allowing them to be as flexible as the weather. Luckily, they were blessed with the most divine day!
As such, the ceremony was minimally styled, with Zoe deciding to forego a floral arbour in favour of not disturbing the spectacular lake views. The reception itself was amped up with stunning florals. A romantic fireplace adorned with a decadent cascading arrangement acted as a backdrop to the bridal party seating. Kate Hill styled this room and scattered LED candles amongst her beautiful flowers, casting a romantic and intimate light over the space.
The beautiful venue reflected a weekend full of special moments shared with their whole family. Family is the most important thing to both Matt and Zoe, so their loved ones and traditions naturally played a huge role. Their wedding included classic traditions – such as exchanging vows and rings and sharing a first dance. Being led down the aisle by Zoe’s father and sharing a special dance with him was among her “proudest moments”. And this I think is what really sums up their wedding, an intimate celebration of two people very much in love, surrounded by their nearest and dearest…
